Buenos Aires, November 27 (NA) – Host Yuyito González walked the red carpet at the Martín Fierro Cable Awards, where she is nominated in the 'Magazine' category for her show 'Empezar el Día' (Ciudad Magazine). She reflected on the controversy surrounding her past relationship with President Javier Milei.

The media personality acknowledged the impact of the fame brought by her romance with the current head of state: "My life is very surprising. The tsunami started in 2023, gained momentum in 2024, and continues in 2025," she told Barbie Simons and Pía Shaw, as reported by the Argentine News Agency.

She also admitted that this year was a personal and professional challenge in her career: "The goal was precisely to connect with the press, my colleagues on one side, unknown to me, or them to connect with me from a completely unknown place where there were also many horrible things, aggressions. As part of everything I went through this year."

González also stated that she has "quite high defenses" due to her spiritual life and faith, but she had to recognize that it was a year, and since the end of '23, of many attacks. However, she acknowledged the unconditional support of her audience: "But also of many beautiful things and perhaps with whom I capitalized the most on the attacks was with the public. When people attack you unfairly, they love you more because they want to defend you, empathize with you, support you. So like everything in life, one sweet, one bitter."

When asked if she would dedicate the award to her ex-partner, she replied: "No, of course not, I'm not going to mention him, but I am going to mention the guest category, which I had some wonderful guests, and I have several thank yous."
